Wilo Türkiye Invests €2 Million in Production and Testing Infrastructure

With more than 150 years of experience in water technology, Wilo has taken another step in strengthening its production and engineering capabilities in Türkiye. A key component of Wilo Türkiye’s €2 million investment programme, carried out over the past year across production, localisation, testing and warehousing, is the company’s new Test Centre, which has now become operational.

With the new facility, Wilo aims to conduct performance and functional testing of pumps at its Türkiye plant, strengthen quality assurance processes and further develop the facility’s role as a regional production hub.

Wilo Türkiye continues to reinforce the strategic position of its Türkiye facility within the Wilo Group through investments aimed at expanding its production and engineering capabilities. As part of this strategy, the new Test Centre and production lines commissioned in September 2026 have become an important part of the company’s technical infrastructure, covering processes from production through to quality control.

Equipped with advanced testing infrastructure, the centre will carry out performance and functional tests on pumps manufactured in Türkiye. Products manufactured on the new production lines are also expected to support both domestic sales and export growth. By managing a greater share of production and testing processes at the Türkiye facility, Wilo aims to create a more agile structure for product development, engineering and quality assurance.

Highlighting Türkiye’s strategic importance within the Wilo Group, Wilo Türkiye General Manager Duygu Erdem said the new Test Centre represents an important step in the company’s long-term growth strategy:

“Türkiye holds a strategic position within the Wilo Group in terms of production, engineering and exports.

We approach our localisation activities together with our production infrastructure and testing capabilities. Our new Test Centre is an important part of this approach.

By managing processes from production through to testing in Türkiye, we can respond more quickly to customer needs, enhance our technical capabilities and increase our export potential. Over the past year, we have invested a total of €2 million in production, localisation, testing and warehousing. With the new investments we plan to implement in 2027, we aim to further expand our production and export capacity.”

Integrated Production and Testing Structure Strengthens

As part of Wilo Türkiye’s recently expanded localisation activities, the production infrastructure and technical capabilities of the facility are also being further developed. A broad range of products, from fire pumps and wastewater systems to standardised pumps and booster systems, is manufactured in Türkiye in accordance with Wilo’s global production and quality standards.

With the new Test Centre, Wilo aims to manage production, testing and quality assurance processes in a more integrated manner at the same facility. This structure is expected to enable faster responses to customer requirements, more agile supply processes and greater export capabilities for the Türkiye plant.

Türkiye’s Role as a Regional Production Hub Is Expanding

Thanks to its proximity to markets in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa, Türkiye holds a strategic position within Wilo Group’s production and supply chain. The latest investments are further strengthening the country’s role as a regional production and export hub.

With additional investments planned for 2027, Wilo Türkiye aims to increase both production capacity and export volumes. As part of its long-term growth plans, the company also intends to further develop the Türkiye facility’s production, testing and engineering capabilities while strengthening its position as a regional logistics hub.
