VALVE WORLD EXPO 2026 to Bring the Future of Valve Technology to Düsseldorf
VALVE WORLD EXPO 2026 will bring together international industry professionals and the latest developments in industrial valve and flow control technologies in Düsseldorf from December 1–3, 2026. The exhibition will focus on energy, process safety, digitalisation and automation, as well as the valve value chain.
VALVE WORLD EXPO will showcase technological innovations in industrial valves in Halls 1 and 3 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from December 1–3, 2026. Around 80% of exhibitors from 24 countries have already completed their registrations, with German companies accounting for the largest share. Germany is followed by major industrial countries including Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, Türkiye, India, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States and China.
Featuring smart products and solutions for both fossil-fuel and alternative energy applications, VALVE WORLD EXPO 2026 will serve as an international meeting point for manufacturers, developers, users and decision-makers across the process industries. In addition to professional knowledge exchange and expertise sharing, the exhibition will provide a platform for establishing new business connections.
VALVE WORLD EXPO 2026 to Focus on Four Key Themes
VALVE WORLD EXPO 2026 will centre on four key themes reflecting the industry’s major priorities: Global Energy, Process Industries & Safety, Digitalisation & Automation, and Valve Value Chain.
Global Energy will cover a broad spectrum of products and applications across the energy sector, ranging from oil and natural gas to LNG and district heating, as well as renewable energy sources and hydrogen. The theme will examine the role of valves in enabling different energy systems and applications.
Process Industries & Safety will focus particularly on the importance of safe and efficient valve technologies used in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Under Digitalisation & Automation, smart valve solutions, digital twins and automated systems enabling predictive maintenance will take centre stage. The integration of these technologies into connected plant environments will also be among the topics addressed at the exhibition.
The fourth key theme, Valve Value Chain, will cover the different stages of the valve value chain, from advanced materials and components to engineering and manufacturing, as well as service and logistics solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Hydrogen, LNG and Power-to-X Applications on the Agenda in Düsseldorf
The challenges associated with the energy transition, together with increasing demands for efficiency, safety and sustainability, are driving the need for high-performance and reliable valve technologies.
This demand extends beyond fossil-fuel applications to alternative and renewable energy projects, including hydrogen infrastructure, carbon capture and storage processes, Power-to-X facilities and offshore energy projects.
Developments to be highlighted in Düsseldorf will include hydrogen-resistant materials, cryogenic valve solutions for LNG and green hydrogen applications, automated components for decentralised energy systems, and high-pressure valves used in modern energy storage solutions.
Valve Solutions for the Chemical and Petrochemical Industries
The specific requirements of chemical and petrochemical processes in terms of materials, safety and durability will also be a key focus of the exhibition.
Solutions on display will include PTFE- and metal-seated shut-off and control valves, low-emission solutions compliant with TA-Luft standards, SIL-certified safety valves, and smart monitoring systems for precise process control.
Valve World Conference and Pump Summit to Complement the Exhibition
VALVE WORLD EXPO 2026 will be accompanied by an international conference programme and the Pump Summit.
Traditionally organised by KCI, the Valve World Conference will provide a programme designed to facilitate knowledge transfer between research, engineering and practical applications. Keynote presentations and best-practice sessions will bring industry professionals together in Hall 1.
The Pump Summit will take place in Hall 3 as a dedicated exhibition for pumps. Focusing on specialised pump solutions for a range of industrial applications, the event will complement the industrial valve technologies showcased at VALVE WORLD EXPO.
