The 11th HVAC Mediterranean Congress, Climamed 2024, was hosted by TTMD
After the REHVA 2024 Annual Meeting, the 11th HVAC Mediterranean Congress, Climamed 2024, took place on May 17-18. This event is organized every 3 years by five REHVA member associations: AICARR, AICVF, ATECYR, OE, and TTMD. Climamed 2024 was hosted by TTMD and focused on the main theme of "Towards Decarbonized Buildings and Cities."
The first day of Climamed 2024 began at Istanbul Nippon Hotel with a speech from Tuba Bingöl Altıok, the Chairman of the Climamed Organizing Committee. Altıok mentioned that TTMD had hosted the Climamed Congress in 2013 and expressed their happiness and pride in organizing the event.
Nermin Köroğlu Isın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TTMD, Livio Mazzeralla from AICARR, Frank Hovorka from AICVF, Julio Cano from ATECYR, and Adelio Gaspar from OE delivered welcoming speeches.
After the opening speeches, 11 presentations were delivered in 3 technical sessions. The first day of the Congress concluded with the "Climamed 25th Anniversary Reception" at Nippon Hotel on the evening of May 17.
The Climamed 2024 Congress proceeded on May 18 with four distinct technical sessions chaired by Dr. Murat Çakan through a live broadcast. After the technical sessions, during which 14 speakers delivered presentations, the Climamed 2024 Congress concluded with closing speeches from Dr. Murat Çakan, Tuba Bingöl Altıok, and TTMD Chairman Nermin Köroğlu Isın.
