ISKID’s 15th Term Board of Directors Took Office Under the Chairmanship of Ayk Serdar Didonyan
The Ordinary General Assembly of ISKID was held with a high level of participation from ISKID members on Friday, March 26, 2021, at The Marmara Hotel Taksim, where strict social distance and hygiene measures were taken.
The General Assembly kicked off with the election of the Chairman and members of the Council, followed by a brief presentation by Ozan Atasoy, Chairman of Board of Directors, discussing the Association's activities in 2019 and 2020. In his presentation, Mr. Atasoy stated that although the COVID-19 outbreak hindered the implementation of many projects, the Association adapted to changes very quickly and managed to carry out activities serving a useful purpose. Mr. Atasoy said, "The coronavirus pandemic has enabled everyone to understand the importance of air-conditioning systems once again, and as a result, our association has been quite busy during these challenging times."
ISKID General Assembly unanimously accepted the internal regulation articles, which will increase the term of office of ISKID Board of Directors to 3 years. Thus, the term of office of İSKİD Board of Directors was increased from 2 to 3 years.
During the first meeting of the 15th Term Board of Directors, which was followed by the board of directors' election, the Board of Supervisors, and the Discipline Committee, Ayk Serdar Didonyan was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
In his speech, Ayk Serdar Didonyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said, “ISKID carries out important activities for developing our industry and finding solutions to our common problems. I am confident that the 15th Term Board of Directors will continue to build on these valuable efforts. Indoor air quality and good air-conditioning, which have become more important during the pandemic, will be our main focus in our communication activities, along with digitalization and international activities."

Honorary members İbrahim Biner and Yüksel Turgut were presented with plaques for their contributions to the industry at the ISKID Ordinary General Assembly. Members of the 14th Term ISKID Board of Directors, namely Ozan Atasoy, Ayk Serdar Didonyan, Zeki Özen, Volkan Arslan, Serli Sinanoğlu Tümer, Hüseyin Onbaşıoğlu, Can Topakoğlu, and Birey Bakanay, were presented "Thank You" plaques for their brilliant efforts in management of the association.
