İSİB Strengthens Turkish HVAC&R Industry’s Export Potential in Indonesia

The Turkish HVAC&R Exporters’ Association (İSİB) organized a sectoral trade delegation to Jakarta, Indonesia, from September 22 to 25, 2026, to strengthen the Turkish HVAC&R industry's presence in international markets and facilitate new business partnerships.

The delegation brought together 12 Turkish HVAC&R companies and 35 Indonesian companies for bilateral business meetings held at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski on September 24. A total of 122 B2B meetings took place throughout the day. According to feedback from the participating Turkish companies, 34 of these meetings are expected to lead to positive business outcomes.

The event was also attended by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Talip Küçükcan, along with Commercial Counsellors Esra Eruysal Uygur and Emrah Ersoy, who met with participating companies to discuss trade opportunities.

As part of the delegation's activities, meetings were held with representatives of prominent Indonesian industry organizations, including PERPRINDO, ACE DKI Jakarta, and KADIN DKI Jakarta. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral trade relations and exploring future cooperation opportunities between Türkiye and Indonesia.

Indonesia represents a promising market for Turkish HVAC&R manufacturers and exporters. In 2025, the country imported more than USD 9 billion worth of HVAC&R products, while Türkiye’s HVAC&R exports to Indonesia reached USD 16.6 million during the same period.

Through this trade mission, İSİB provided Turkish companies with opportunities to gain deeper insights into the Indonesian market, establish direct contacts with potential business partners, and develop long-term commercial relationships. The initiative also supported efforts to expand Türkiye’s HVAC&R export presence in Southeast Asia.
