ISIB announced its targets and actions for 2022
The sector is expected to reach an export size of 7 billion dollars in 2022 with a growth of 15 percent compared to the previous year. The primary target of the Turkish HVAC&R Industry in 2022 has been determined as ensuring continuity as a sector that has a foreign trade surplus. In addition to European countries, the target was to increase the market share in Central Asian countries, African and South American countries that promise potential, and where Turkey does not get the market share it deserves.
The sector, which carries out many activities such as fair participation, trade delegation activities, and procurement committee organizations in 2022, will continue to use intellectual communication fields effectively to increase the share of the sector in global markets. The Product Search Engine (members.isib.org.tr) established within ISIB in this field will increase the added value of communication and trade day by day.
The industry is also working on a global communication strategy to translate the limits of accessibility into a global inclusion model. With this strategy, it is aimed to take the perception and reputation journey of the sector in global markets to a higher level in every sense and to increase the material and brand values of the sector's products.
Fair participation, which was suspended due to the pandemic, started again in 2022. It is foreseen to participate in nearly 20 fairs throughout the year. These are Aquatherm-Moscow, Climate World Moscow, Romtherm–Bucharest, Aquatherm-Prague, Instalacje- Poznan, Aquatherm-Kyiv, VSK-International Trade Fair -Utrecht, Frigair Expo-Johannesburg, MCE Milano Exhibition, Mega Clima-Lagos, Aquatherm- There will be Almaty, Aquatherm-Tashkent, Refrigeration Hvac Expo-Jakarta, Aquatherm-Baku, Mega Clima-Nairobi, Mega Clima-Algeria.
Turkey will be a Partner Country at the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort Fair, which will be held in Milan in June, one of the most important fairs of the sector.
In addition, commercial delegations will be organized to Uzbekistan on 8-11 February, to North African countries between 22-25 February, and Brazil and Argentina between 6-13 June. In addition, the Ashrea Summer Conference will be attended between 25-29 June. Again in 2022, purchasing delegations from Balkan countries and Central Asian countries, and Central-South African procurement delegations will be organized in case the Pandemic eases.
