Fire Safety of Istanbul Food Control Laboratory Directorate is entrusted to Duyar Pump Technologies

The fire safety of the Istanbul Food Control Laboratory Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey was entrusted to Duyar Pompa technologies.

To ensure fire safety at the Istanbul Food Control Laboratory, Duyar Pompa provided solutions featuring fire pumps that are NFPA 20 compliant, highly efficient, and offer superior mechanical reliability.

In the project in question, a DNP 65-250 horizontal end suction fire set was used. It is NFPA 20 compliant and features a 37 kW electric motor, consisting of one main fire pump, one spare fire pump, and one jockey pump to prevent installation leaks. The system equipment includes a body relief valve, check valve, manometer, prosestat, pressure switch, jockey pump, expansion tank, and air vent valve.

Horizontal end suction fire pumps in the Duyar Pump product range are single-stage with a closed impeller. The pump and motor are connected using a flexible coupling on a common chassis. They are equipped with grease-lubricated, long-life bearings, and soft seals are used for sealing. The valves in the suction and discharge lines are branded 'Duyar Valve.' The suction and discharge flanges comply with the ISO 7005-2/PN16 standard.
