Embraco to Showcase Expanded HVAC&R Solutions at Chillventa 2026
Embraco will showcase its expanding portfolio for refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning applications at Chillventa 2026, taking place in Nuremberg, Germany, from 13 to 15 October. The Nidec Global Appliance brand will present its Embraco Scroll compressor portfolio alongside the Sync it All Pro integrated component ecosystem, the Bioma+ condensing unit and new variable-speed compressors designed for R290.
Chillventa 2026, one of the leading international events for the refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pump sectors, will bring the HVAC&R industry together at Nürnberg Messe from 13 to 15 October.
Embraco will welcome visitors at Hall 4, Booth 145, where the company will demonstrate its growing capabilities beyond refrigeration and its expansion into heating and air-conditioning applications.
One of the key highlights will be the recently launched Embraco Scroll compressor portfolio, designed for commercial and residential applications across refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning.
“At Chillventa, we are positioning Nidec as a strategic partner for the whole HVAC&R industry in the mission to build a more sustainable, connected, and highly energy-efficient future,” said Ricardo Bristotti, President of Nidec Global Appliance.
Embraco Scroll Expands into Heating and Air-Conditioning Applications
The Embraco Scroll compressor range covers applications including cold rooms, air-to-water heat pumps, rooftop chillers, packaged units and central ducted air-conditioning systems.
The portfolio ranges from 1.2 to 35 HP and supports multiple refrigerants, including R410A and R404A, as well as lower-GWP options such as A2L refrigerants and R290.
Among the products highlighted at Chillventa will be the newly launched Embraco Pulse, which features digital capacity modulation and enables precise capacity control from 10% to 100%.
Available from 2 HP to 15 HP, the Pulse range is designed for both refrigeration and heating applications, including remote condensing units serving multideck cabinets and cold rooms, as well as space heating systems.
Sync it All Pro Demonstrated in a Live Application
Another major focus of Embraco’s Chillventa presence will be Sync it All Pro, the latest generation of the company’s integrated component concept.
The ecosystem brings together compressors, fans, controllers and development software designed to operate in synchronisation, helping manufacturers simplify product development, optimise equipment performance and reduce energy consumption.
At the booth, visitors will be able to see Sync it All Pro operating in a functional reach-in cooler. The demonstration will show the integration of an Embraco variable-speed compressor, fan, controller and development software within a single system.
Embraco will also present case studies from real applications. According to the company, the Sync it All Pro ecosystem can deliver energy savings of up to 30%, depending on the application.
At the centre of the new generation is the Sync Pro controller, which can manage up to 16 components, including as many as 12 variable-speed compressors and/or fan motors.
The Flow Pro fan pack combines a variable-speed motor that dynamically adjusts operation according to application demand with a proprietary blade design developed to improve airflow.
The latest version of YouControl software includes an auto-tuning tool designed to help engineers determine optimal operating parameters in days rather than weeks, while Inverter Pro integrates variable-speed compressors with the wider ecosystem.
André Rosa, Commercial Appliances Vice-President at Nidec Global Appliance, explained that integrating controllers, fans and compressors under a single operating logic and configuration tool is intended to provide greater energy efficiency, more stable temperatures and a simpler set-up process.
According to Rosa, the Pro generation extends the concept to larger and more complex refrigeration systems, with energy savings of up to 30% achieved in some applications.
Bioma+ Adds Multi-Refrigerant Compatibility
Embraco will also highlight its continued development of solutions compatible with lower-GWP refrigerants.
Among them is Bioma+, the latest generation of the company’s condensing unit for cold-room applications. One of the key developments is its compatibility with multiple refrigerants, including the A2L refrigerants R454C and R455A.
The unit also incorporates a housing engineered with a fan diffuser. Depending on the model, Embraco states that operating sound levels range from 29 to 36 dB(A).
New Variable-Speed Compressors for R290
Natural refrigerant technology will also feature prominently at the Embraco booth, with a range of compressors designed for R290 in light commercial refrigeration applications.
One of the highlights will be the VLT, a compact, dual-voltage variable-speed compressor series. With a height ranging from 123 to 131 mm, the VLT is designed to deliver the cooling capacity associated with larger fixed-speed models within a smaller compressor frame.
Embraco will also present the VEHD variable-speed compressor range, developed for applications ranging from refrigerated merchandisers to food-service equipment. According to Embraco, the new range provides 15% greater energy efficiency than its predecessor.
Completing the compressor portfolio at the booth will be the NE, NT and NJ fixed-speed compressor families, designed for applications requiring higher cooling capacities, with options reaching up to 2 HP.
Embraco’s presence at Chillventa 2026 will therefore span compressors, condensing units, fans, controllers and software, reflecting the brand’s expansion from its traditional refrigeration focus towards a broader portfolio of integrated solutions for the HVAC&R industry.
