Daikin is the Sector Champion in Turkey's Top 1000 Exporters Ranking

The leading brand of the air conditioning industry, Daikin continues to crown the importance it attaches to R&D and production with the awards it has received. The company, which became the sector champion in the list of top 1000 exporters in 2022 announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), achieved a great success by being in the 70th place in the general ranking.

Daikin, the leading brand of the air conditioning industry, crowns the results of its investments in production and R&D with the awards it received in 2022. According to the 2022 financial year results, the company, which achieved an export revenue of approximately 330 million dollars, ranked as the export champion of its sector in the 'Turkey's Top 1000 Exporters Survey for 2022' prepared by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) and achieved a great success. In the general ranking of all sectors, Daikin, which ranked 81st last year, managed to increase its export revenues by 31.5 percent this year and rose to 70th place.

Receiving the award on behalf of Daikin Turkey at the 'Champions of Export' award ceremony held by the Turkish Exporters Assembly on June 18, 2023, Daikin Turkey Board Member Zeki Özen said the following: "Since 2011, when we started to operate as a direct investor, we have been doubling our growth every year. The importance we attach to R&D and production plays a major role in this. We are in a position to reach CIS countries with the products we produce in our factory located in Sakarya-Hendek and Europe with our VRV outdoor units. We also demonstrate this success with the export awards we receive every year. In the 2022 financial year, we became the champion in our sector with an export revenue of approximately 330 million dollars. In order to make our investments sustainable, we will continue to offer our environmentally friendly, high-tech products that meet consumer expectations and take steps to strengthen production in Turkey."
