Bosch Turkey and Middle East Center are Officially Opened


Bosch Turkey took responsibility of 16 countries in the Middle East as of 2015. Parallel to Bosch Turkey’s expansion in area of responsibility, Bosch units that have worked in a variety of locations around Turkey came under the newly built roof of Bosch Turkey and Middle East Center, in Kucukyali. The official opening of the headquarters was inaugurated by the period Minister of Science, Technology and Industry, Fikri Isik and German Ambassador, Martin Erdmann and Bosch Group Executive Board Member, Uwe Raschke. Regionally responsible from Europe and Africa, including Bosch Turkey, Executive Board Member Uwe Raschke said, “Turkey is a country that Bosch Group cares about in terms of future plans. We have a steady growth in Turkey. We operate in 5 cities, with 8 production bases and 4 R&D centers. With 16.600 employees, Turkey ranks number two after Germany in Europe. We continue to grow here. In the past 5 years, we made an investment of over one billion Euros and only the past year 300 million Euros in Turkey. This number is the largest investment following Germany, China and USA. We plan to invest over 220 million Euros this year.”
