Baymak Renews LEED Gold Certification for Its Manufacturing Facility and Offices

Baymak continues to strengthen its sustainability initiatives as part of its commitment to the energy transition in the HVAC industry. The company has renewed the LEED Gold certification covering its 25,000-square-meter manufacturing facility and office areas, securing the certification for another three years.

One of the well-established companies in the HVAC industry, Baymak continues to maintain its performance in international sustainable building standards through environmentally responsible practices implemented in line with its sustainability targets.
The company initially introduced environmentally friendly practices across its office areas in 2021. In 2023, Baymak further expanded these initiatives by implementing measures designed to improve indoor air quality while increasing energy and water efficiency. These efforts enabled the company to achieve LEED Gold certification in the same year.

Baymak Recertified at LEED Gold Level Under LEED v4.1

As part of its sustainability approach, which is integrated across its business operations, Baymak has successfully completed the certification process once again.

With the certification dated July 2026, the company renewed its LEED Gold status for another three years. Baymak Makine Sanayi Tic. A.Ş. has therefore been certified under the LEED v4.1 Operations and Maintenance: Existing Buildings rating system.

The certification demonstrates that the facility meets the requirements of the LEED green building rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), with certification verified by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).
