Aldağ selected as HVAC Solutions Supplier for Zagreb Sestre Milosrdnice Hospital Complex

The KBC Sestre Milosrdnice Hospital Complex, one of Croatia's most significant healthcare infrastructure projects, is undergoing comprehensive structural reinforcement, renovation, and modernization following the damage caused by the 2020 Zagreb and Petrinja earthquakes.

Founded in 1846 through the initiative of Zagreb Archbishop Cardinal Juraj Haulik, KBC Sestre Milosrdnice is one of the oldest hospitals in Southeast Europe. Its current campus on Vinogradska Street was designed in 1894 by German architect Kuno Waidmann. Originally operated by a religious order, the institution has evolved into one of Croatia's leading clinical centers, comprising 17 clinics, seven specialized institutes, and more than 2,300 employees. The hospital also serves as a teaching facility for medical, dental, and nursing schools and is home to Croatia's first Urticaria Center.

As part of the Zagreb Sestre Milosrdnice Clinical Hospital Centre Renovation Project, scheduled for completion this year, advanced HVAC systems engineered by Turkish engineers under the Aldağ A.Ş. brand have been selected for the facility.

The project includes heat recovery comfort and hygienic air handling units with airflow capacities ranging from 1,750 to 14,000 m³/h, as well as high-capacity hygienic air handling units delivering 4,000 to 31,000 m³/h. In addition, Aldağ's heat recovery ventilation units will contribute to providing high indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and reliable climate control throughout the hospital complex.

Commenting on the achievement, Aldağ A.Ş.'s sales engineering team stated:

"Representing Turkish engineering in international markets is a great source of pride. Being selected for a project that directly supports healthcare services and improves patient environments makes this achievement even more meaningful."

For nearly 60 years, Aldağ A.Ş. has been dedicated to developing and manufacturing high-performance HVAC solutions that promote human health, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Backed by internationally recognized certifications that are continuously updated to meet global standards, the company continues to strengthen its presence in international markets by delivering reliable and innovative climate control solutions for landmark projects around the world.
