Air Conditioning Companies Take Their Place in Turkey's Top 1000 Exporters List

The report of 2022 of Turkey's Top 1000 Exporters Research, published by TIM (Turkish Exporters Assembly) every year, has been shared. The report also included the list of Turkey's top thousand exporters in 2022. According to the data in the report; In 2022, Turkey's exports increased by 12.9% compared to the previous year and reached 254.2 billion dollars, and in eight of the last ten years, exports increased more than the increase in global trade. Turkey's share in global exports, which was 0.86% in 2013, rose to 1.02% in 2022.
Turkey's top 1000 exporters of goods managed to export a total of 133.8 billion dollars in 2022. Turkey's foreign trade volume increased by 24.4% in 2022 compared to the previous year and reached 617.9 billion dollars.
The following statements are included in the evaluation of Turkish Exporters Assembly President Mustafa Gültepe: “Last year, we did not leave a single point in the world that did not meet Turkish products. We added 21.501 companies to our export family. While we increased our exports to 162 countries, we reached the highest level in exports to 108 countries. We have increased the number of countries to which we export over 1 billion dollars to 52. While 16 of our sectors broke export records, the exports of 23 of our sectors exceeded the 1 billion dollar mark.”
In the report; TIM Sectors Council Member Salih Zeki Poyraz said about the air conditioning sector, which is the 11th largest sector in exports according to TIM data; “We closed the year 2022 with an export size of 6 billion 680 million dollars, an increase of 7.9 percent compared to the previous year. With this figure, the sector's exports reached the highest level of all time. The ratio of sector exports to imports was 93.5%. These results show that we are organized as a sector and that we are moving forward with a certain strategy. The countries with the highest exports in 2022 were Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russia and France, respectively. The kilogram unit price of the industry increased from $4.63 in 2021 to $5.35 in 2022. This proves that our industry is effective in producing value-added products.”

It was seen that Daikin A.Ş. took the first place in the export of Air Conditioning Industry in the list of Turkey's Top 1000 Exporters.
