Air Conditioner Exports of Türkiye Doubled Compared to Pre-Pandemic

Extreme heat, which is now more common in the summer months due to the effect of global warming, has increased the demand for air conditioning all over the world. Turkey's air conditioner exports also doubled before the pandemic. Turkish logistics companies are working hard on air conditioning transportation to meet the increasing demand. Müge Karahan, Sales and Marketing Director of Boltas, which also specializes in white goods and electronic home appliances logistics, said, "As temperatures rise in the world, the share of air conditioners in our loads in the white goods and electronic home appliances categories has increased significantly." said.
With the effect of global warming, the demand for air conditioners is increasing worldwide, and Turkey's air conditioner exports also take their share from this trend. According to TUIK data, air conditioner exports rose to a record level of 541 million dollars in the first half of the year. Exports, which increased by 8 percent compared to the same period last year, approximately doubled compared to before the pandemic. The majority of air conditioner exports, 76 percent, were made to EU countries and the United Kingdom.
Along with exports, international transportation demands also increased. Sales and Marketing Director of Boltas, which stands out with its logistics solutions in the white goods and electronic home appliances categories, stated that the demand for air conditioning transportation has increased significantly.
“As temperatures rise in the world, the share of air conditioning in our loads in the white goods and electronic home appliances category has increased significantly.” Karahan emphasized that they offer a careful transportation and storage service in this field.

Karahan explained that all logistics processes of the white goods and electronic home appliances they undertake to transport, from factories and suppliers to the stores, are carried out by expert teams.
Stating that they make a difference in the sector with customer and load-specific logistics solutions, Karahan said, “We give priority to security and on-time delivery.
