Naci Şahin Became the New President of Eurovent Association

Naci Şahin, who has been the General Manager of FRITERM and Board Member of Eurovent, has taken over the presidency of Eurovent from Alex Rasmussen. At the Eurovent Annual Meeting in Oslo, members approved Naci Şahin as their new president.
Şahin head the ISKID, member of Eurovent, between 2013-2014 and played a leading role in shaping the ininternational aspect of the Turkish HVAC industry. Following his election as president, Naci Şahin said: “It is a great honor for me to be elected as the president of Europe’s leading HVACR industry association. Over the past decade, Eurovent has taken the European air  conditioning industry together, played an active role in reducing trade barriers, developing legislation and standards, and  motivated our industry to move the industry further for improving efficiency, product quality, indoor air quality, and on many other issues. Eurovent also supported us in adapting to EPBD and Ecodesign legislation which are also effective in Turkey. Eurovent Certification Programs have led the industries to set a higher standard. During my presidency, I would like to continue
on the path of development initiated by my predecessors, Christian Herten and Alex Rasmussen. We will focus on enhancing the unity and solidarity of the European air conditioning industry, and cooperation further.”
